Fundraising
Most of our funds come from individual donors or small and medium-sized UK charitable trusts. The biggest fundraising events have been the London Marathon (but we do not spend your donated money on Golden Bond places); the Silverstone Half-Marathon,the Weymouth Triathlon and Cycle Cuba.
In addition we are forever grateful to those of you who do your own thing …and send us the money! A few examples: artists Paul Quant and Cia Bosanquet who sell their work, Margaret Minton who sold CDs of her singing and Raj Bhamm who celebrated her 50th by telling everyone to give to Second Sight rather than to buy her presents!
